Take Two
I'm a big proponent of second chances. Life happens in between the normal everyday stellar first impressions. (What? That's just me?)
Give people a second chance. Maybe their dog died that day, or their roommate kicked them out, they're PMSing or sick or are suffering momentarily from that ubiquitous existential crisis that plagues any decent artist. Maybe. Maybe not.
A second chance.
(Not a third fourth fifth sixth. They clearly have serious issues. And you might too, if you keep hanging around waiting for more drama.)
A second chance.
Pump up that forgiveness muscle. Your recognition and appreciation that we are all one. If they have just made a fool of themselves, behaved unkindly, or acted oblivious to society's standards of common courtesy, well, so have you at some point, no? You've done it too, haven't you? Don't act appalled and incredulous when someone fucks up.
Bitch please.
We have all fucked up, knowingly or unknowingly, maliciously or haplessly. Have the decency and respect to give your fellow man another chance.
Chance. Singular.
For now.
Wouldn't you want the same for yourself?
Writing people off is easier. Being judgmental and self-righteous and Pharisaical about people is probably more convenient and more readily understood. And accepted.

I say stop and remember that we are all one.
Forgive. Quickly and easily. And mean it.
Don't perpetuate someone else's akwardness. Not cool.
Fool me once, shame on you. (We'll get over it.)
Fool me twice...
